LVDT based Force Sensor
Kavlico LVDT-Based Force Sensors are the most reliable force sensors available. With a Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) exceeding 500,000 hours, these sensors provide the highest accuracy and greatest stability with temperature over time, as compared to other force sensor technologies on the market. And their rugged design makes them ideal for the most extreme environments.
Most LVDT-Based Force Sensors are designed to accept an AC input while providing a linear AC voltage output proportional to force. However, if a DC device is desired, Kavlico can provide units with integral or remote electronics to provide DC operation.
- Pilot input load for flight data recorder
- Pilot input load for cockpit wheel steering
- Aircraft linkage for limiting flight loads
- Flight data recorder sensing
