Kavlico’s P295 high range pressure transducer provides pressure measurement solutions for a broad range of applications such as; air conditioning and refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, pumps and compressors, transmissions, water management, engine monitoring and test equipment, agricultural chemical controls, environmental control systems, as well as level and depth instrumentation.

This versatile design incorporates Kavlico’s patented and field-proven ceramic capacitive sensing element that by design provide excellent long-term stability. Ruggedness and reliability are also designed into the device due to the corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel housing.

Built-in protection against EMI ensures performance and reliability in electrically noisy environments. Pressure ranges are available from 0–1500 to 0–3000 PSI. The unit has an operating temperature range of -40° to +125°C.

In addition to the P295 high range pressure transducer, Kavlico designs and manufactures custom sensors for a wide variety of OEM, application specific requirements utilizing our ceramic capacitive, silicon micro-machined integrated capacitance and piezoresistive technologies.

The model P321 wet/wet differential pressure transducer features excellent long-term stability and repeatability for such demanding applications as filter monitoring, flow monitoring & control, and leak detection.

The maintenance-free device is ideally suited for those pressure measurement tasks requiring unattended operation over millions of pressure cycles. Presently manufactured in three (3) pressure ranges (0–30, 0–45 and 0–50 PSID) with custom ranges available, the P321 provides and amplified .5 to 4.5 Vdc output from a 5 Vdc regulated power supply.

The rugged housing and 750 PSI line pressure combined with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +100°C and EMI protection make this versatile device ideal for OEM’s interested in a reliable, affordable solution to a variety of differential pressure measurement problems.

Key to the P321’s excellent hysteresis and stability characteristics is Kavlico’s patented ceramic, variable capacitance sensing element and integral hybrid circuit for reliable operation.

The model P350 provides a rugged, reliable means of monitoring tank level at an affordable price. OEM’s can utilize the P350 for incorporation into level monitoring equipment for the water utility market. In SCADA systems or stand-alone monitoring, the P350 helps to maintain control over a city or district’s water supply, maintain safe water levels in storage tanks and reservoirs as well as monitor ground water levels.

The P350 is suitable for mounting directly on the tank, adjacent to the tank connected on a pipeline or in conjunction with a bubbler system designed to monitor the height of the water in the tank or well.

The P350’s sensing element is Kavlico’s patented, field-proven ceramic capacitive design that contains an integral, reliable, solid-state custom hybrid signal conditioner.

The sensor features 5 Vdc operation, excellent long-term stability and is EMI protected. Pressure ranges are available from 0–5 through 0–100 PSI gage or absolute. The operating temperature range is -40 to +125°C. Every P350 is factory calibrated by a computer controlled laser trimmer. The Valox™ housing and integral mating connector are weather resistant.

The P356 gag/differential pressure transducer is designed for pneumatic controls, filter monitoring, tank level, and leak detection applications requiring long-term stability and operational life in excess of 10 years.

Available in pressure ranges of 0–0.5, 0–1, ±1, 0–3, and 0–5 PSI, the P356 provides an amplified voltage output of 0.5 through 4.5 Vdc from a 5 Vdc regulated power supply.

Featuring a brass housing and excellent EMI protection, this device has a response time of <10m sec and an operating temperature range of -40 to +125°C. Built-in reverse polarity and over voltage protection allow for ease of installation while excellent hysteresis, repeatability, and linearity provide accurate measurements.

The P356 is packaged for high volume applications requiring a rugged, compact design while offering flexible configuration options for application-specific requirements.

Key to the sensors’ high performance and low cost is Kavlico’s ceramic, variable capacitance sensing element and integral ASIC with hybrid circuit for reliable signal conditioning.
