There are over 130 potential automotive sensing applications where Kavlico sensors could be installed. Kavlico’s many different sensing technologies provide a very flexible platform for addressing the varied applications found on today’s vehicles. Kavlico has the technology that fits the application and the ability to provide high volume quantities as may be required.

Currently, Kavlico is very involved in the area of emissions control, with a range of sensors specifically designed for exhaust gas after-treatment systems in diesel engines. Most of Kavlico’s sensors for emission control are currently in high volume production while some are in final qualification.

Recent emission standards enacted in the U.S., Europe, and Japan require significant improvement in emission control systems in order to meet regulatory requirements. Kavlico currently addresses these new requirements with a broad offering of sensors designed specifically to meet demands of the ever-changing mandates.
