Kavlico Corporation was founded
in 1958 by a Norwegian immigrant (Fred Kavli) and was
originally located just north of Los Angeles in the
San Fernando Valley in Chatsworth, California. In 1986,
Kavlico relocated the entire operation to its current
location on a 53-acre site in Moorpark, where the first
two of three manufacturing facilities began operation.
The first building with 183,000 square feet began manufacturing
both pressure and position sensors.
In 1993, the second building was
completed with manufacturing dedicated to the position
sensor market. Kavlicos third building was completed
in 1998, increasing the overall office and manufacturing
space to 314,000 square feet.
The first products to be manufactured
were position sensors for use by the aerospace industry.
Today, our current markets include products for the
Aerospace, Automotive, HVAC, Medical, General Industrial
and many other specialized industrial industries. Many
of Kavlicos customers are among Fortunes
top 500.
