Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)

By measuring the differential pressure across an orifice, the EGR flow rate can be accurately controlled and the condition of the EGR valve can be monitored. This is an OBD II requirement. Kavlico has designed a sensor that can monitor this pressure while at the same time providing a manifold pressure signal. These functions are uniquely combined into a single sensor using specific MEMS technology.
