The use of motorcycles, snowmobiles, and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) is growing for both recreational fun, as well as primary modes of transportation. These vehicles contribute greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere, as do more conventional modes of transportation. The two-stroke engine is giving way to the four-stroke engine for a majority of high performance and touring on-road motorcycles in order to reduce both noise and emissions.
Kavlico offers the same suite of pressure sensors to RVs and motorcycles as in other segments of the transportation market for engine control, fuel efficiency, and emission sensing.
As these vehicles become more sophisticated and require more electronic controls, Kavlico’s depth of products for applications throughout the transportation sector will be available for adaptation to fit this niche requirement.
